So where did nina@technet.com come from?

I can certainly see a problem if the mailbox for helen@technet.com is
set to forward mail to a distribution group that has as a member the
mailbox assigned the address helen@technet.com!

No, it doesn't. It describes a forwarding loop:

=> helen => DL => helen => DL => helen => DL => . . .

>2. When i recreate the scenario (another employee Nina needs same forward to 4 device). I do same like earlier IT crew did. But I get error when i send to nina@technet.com. It arrives to any device adresse like peter.iphone@technet.com. Somehow i did same AD and ex2010 grps like they did for helen. Helen seems getting mails to all her devices. Do i miss any setting for nina.

Just assign all the SMTP addresses to the same mailbox.

An Exchange 2010 mailbox can have multiple mobile device partnerships, and multiple email addresses.  I don't understand why they wanted a new AD account for each device.

Hi,

I get an error message as follows. I apologize from start if my description sounds tidy. Earlier IT staff seems they did that way.

In company we have an employee which uses desktop, BB, iphone and ipad.

She gets her mails to all devices she uses in travel. IT crew seems created a solution as follow. I give technet domain as example, it is not real.  There are 4 AD user acount which has same name but different e-mails:

In exchange 2010:

helen@technet.com > mail flow settings > forward to dist group h-all. This h-all dist grp seems created in EX2010 with selecting existing grp and assigned to AD dist grp H-all.

there is AD Dist. grp. named h-all. Groups mail adresse is h-all@technet.com. This distribution group members are mentioned above: 4 AD account which contains different mails:

helen@technet.com , helen.ipad@technet.com, helen.bb@technet.com, helen.iphone@technet.com

Their approachseems: when mail comes to helen@technet.com, forward to EX2010 Dist grp H-ALL. AD dist grp contains 4 device mail adresse. They seem like added helen.iphone@technet.com account to her iphone device.

nina@technet.com
#550 5.4.6 RESOLVER.FWD.Loop; there is a forwarding loop configured in the directory ##

My questions briefly:

1. Is that approach sounds right for such scenario.

3. What would be better approach for this for exchange 2010
